FLINT – Today, Sheriff Chris Swanson received endorsements from local elected officials and community leaders days after announcing his run for governor Thursday. This strong, early show of support comes after Swanson rolled out backing from union groups and law enforcement across the state.
“I am honored to earn the support of strong leaders dedicated to making a real difference in the success, health, and safety of our communities,” said Sheriff Swanson. “As governor, I will be focused on bringing folks together to get things done and improve the lives of Michiganders from day one. I look forward to forging partnerships with these and other leaders along the way to make that happen. Together, there is nothing Michigan can’t do.”
Today, Sheriff Swanson is announcing the endorsements of:
